problems before proceeding with the
diagnostic procedure.
Preliminary diagnostic check (visual inspection)

Check all sensors, actuators and the wiring
harness of the system for corrosion and
damages.

Check all connectors of the system for
corrosion and for damaged terminals.

Check all ground connections of the system
for corrosion and damages

Check if the fault was recognised in an area
of strong electromagnetic sources e.g. near
radio stations
