Otherwise, the coupling ball bar must be
tensioned before it is inserted into the
coupling housing:
z Unlock coupling ball bar (key to
position 1), see Fig. 17222 T on
page 234.
z Pull turn knob out and then turn it
clockwise as far as it will go, see
Fig. 17223 T.
Inserting the coupling ball bar
Insert the tensioned coupling ball bar into
the coupling housing and push firmly
upwards until the coupling ball bar audibly
engages in position.
The turn knob snaps back into its home
position resting against the coupling ball
bar.
Lock coupling ball bar (key to position 2,
see Fig. 17222 T on page 234). Remove key
and press protective flap into position.
When the coupling ball bar is locked the
turn knob can no longer be pulled out.
9 Warning
Do not touch the turn knob when
inserting the coupling ball bar - risk of
injury.
