Engine oil level 3
Control indicator illuminates yellow.
The engine oil level is checked

automatically.
Illuminates when the engine is running
Engine oil level too low. Check engine oil
level and top up engine oil if necessary, see
page 298.

Exterior lights
Control indicator illuminates green.
It is illuminated when the exterior lights are
on – see page 143.

Parking distance sensor 3
Control indicator illuminates yellow.
Fault in system. Contact a workshop
immediately.

Turn signal lights
Control indicator flashes green.
The corresponding control indicator
flashes on the side of the direction
indicators selected.
Both control indicators flash with the
hazard warning lights on.
Fast flashing: failure of a direction
indicator light or associated fuse, failure of
direction indicator light on trailer 3.

Y
Fuel level
Control indicator illuminates or flashes
yellow.
Lights
Low fuel level, fuel gauge in reserve area.
Flashing
Fuel supply exhausted, refuel immediately.
Never let the tank run dry!
Erratic fuel supply can cause catalytic
converter to overheat, see page204.
Diesel engines: If the tank is run dry, bleed
the fuel system as describ ed on pag e 241.
