Illuminates in blue when main beam is on
and when headlight flash is op erated -
see pages 10, 91.

Low wi nd sc reen wa sh fluid
Illuminates in yellow when ignition is
switched on, then extinguishes.
If it illuminates: windscreen wash fluid level
low, a dd wash fluid as soon as possible -
see page 196.

Water in diesel fuel filter 3
Illuminates in yellow when water level in
diesel fuel filter exceeds a specified level.
Re sidual wa ter in the diesel fue l filte r will
need to be drained - see page 191. Consult
a workshop as soon as possible.

Change engine oil 3
Illuminates in yellow when ignition is
switched on, then extinguishes.
Illuminates to indicate that engine oil
need s changing w ithin approx. 600 miles
(1000 km). Engine power may be
decreased.
Once the engine oil has been changed, the
engine oil life monitor need s to be reset -
see p age 191.

Preheating for diesel engines 3
Illuminated in yellow during preheating.
Preheating system switches on only if
outside temperature is low.
If it comes on during driving or if the engine
cannot be started, consult a workshop as
soon as possible.
Starting the engine - see page 15.

DPF (Diesel pa rticle filter) 3
Illuminates or flashes in yellow when diesel
particle filter re quires cleaning.
As soon as the road a nd traffic situation
permits it, increase speed to more than
30 mph (50 km/h) for approx. 15 minutes.
The control indicator extinguishes as soon
as cleaning is complete.

Cruise control 3

Engine oil level 3
Illuminates in yellow when ignition is
switched on, then ex tinguishes.
If it illuminates d uring driving;
oil level low : top up oil to specified level -
see page 189.

Power steering
Illuminates in yellow when ignition is
switched on, then ex tinguishes.
If it does not illuminate when the ignition is
switched on, stays illuminated or
illuminates during driving, there is a fault in
the system. Consult a workshop as soon as
possible.
