To access the under floor storage, push
both levers on floor cover towards the
ha ndle - see pag e 173. Pull floor cover
up wards by t he ha nd le and h ang th e ho o k
to the upper part of the tailga te opening.
Not es on load ing the vehicle
z Heavy objects in the luggage
compartment should be placed as far
forwa rd as possible. If objects a re to be
stack ed, the h ea vier obje cts sh ould be
placed at the bottom.
With rear seats in the folded p osition, or
with safety net 3 insta lled behind rear
se ats, o bjects mu st not be stack ed
higher than the seat backrests.
Unsecured objects in the luggage
compartment would be thrown forward
with great force in the event of heavy
braking, for example.
z Secure heav y objects w ith la shing
straps 3 attached to the lashing eyes. If
heavy loads slip when the vehicle is
braked heavily or driven around a bend,
the handling of the vehicle may change.
z Secure loose item s in lugga ge
compartment using FlexOrganizer 3 or
lug gage floor net 3 to prevent sliding.
z When transporting objects in the
lug gage compartment, fit safety net 3 -
see page 56.

Do not allow objects to protrude above
the top of the under floor storag e, to
avoid damage to the storage area and
the lugg age com partment floor.
