Your first aid kit a nd warning triangle can
be accommodated b elow the floor cover in
the lugga ge compartment.
Temporary spare wheel
The temporary spare wheel is located in
the luggage compartment below the floor
cover and is secured with a screw-in
re t ain er .
Push both levers on t he floor c over towards
the handle and pull up floor cover by the
handle (see page 173, Fig. S 13700). Hang
the hook to the upper part of the tailgate
op ening (see page 59, Fig. S 13419).
Remove the retainer b y rotating it
anticlockwise, and remove spare w heel
from the spare whee l well.
General inform ation
If y o u us e winter tyre s 3, the spare wheel
may still be fitted with a summer tyre.
If y ou use the spare whee l when it is fitted
with a summer tyre, the vehicle's
driveability ma y be affected , especially on
slippery road surfaces.
Obtain a replacement for the faulty tyre as
soon as possible, and have the wheel
bala nced and fitted to the vehicle.
