Clean edges and folds on opened doors
and flaps as well as the areas they cover.
Thoroughly rinse off and leather-off the
vehicle. Rinse leather frequently. Use
separate lea thers for pa int a nd window
surfaces; remnants of wa x on the windows
will impa ir vision.
Also wash a lum inium trim parts, avoiding
the use of abrasiv e m aterials such as
automotive or chrom e polish, steam or
caustic soap . Washing with wa ter is
normally sufficient.
Observe na tional regulations.
Waxing
Wax your vehicle regularly, in particula r
after it ha s b ee n wash e d usin g
Car Shampoo and at the latest when w ater
no long er forms beads on the paintwork,
otherwise the paintwork will dry out.
Also w ax aluminium trim pa rts, edges and
folds on opened doors and flaps as w ell as
the a reas they cover.
Polishing
Polishing is necessa ry only if the paint
ha s b ecome dull or if solid deposits ha ve
become attached to it.

a protective film, making waxing
unnecessary.
Plastic body parts should not be treated
with wax a nd polish.
Use Metallic Paintw ork Wa x on vehic les
with a metallic-effect paint finish.
Wheels
Use a p H-neutral whee l clea ning a gent to
clean the wheels.
Av oid using a brasive ma terials and
brushes that can damage the finish.
Whe els are painted a nd can be treate d
with the sam e agents as the body. For a lloy
whee ls , we re comme nd the use of Alloy
Wheel Preserver.
Pa intwork dam age
Repair small areas of paint dam age such
as stone impacts, scratches etc.
immediately, using a Vauxhall Touch-up
Ap plicato r o r Vaux hall Spray an d T o uc h-
up Paint before rust can form. If rust has
already form ed, have the caus e re me died
by a workshop. Please also pay attention
to surfaces and edges beneath the vehicle
where rust may have formed unnoticed for
some time.
Exterior lights
Headlight and other protective light bezels
are made of plastic. If they require
add itional cleaning after the vehicle has
be en wa shed , cle an the m w ith
Car Shampoo. Do not use any abrasive or
caustic agents, do not use an ice scraper,
and do not clean them dry.
Plastic and rubb er parts
For additional clea ning of pla stic and
rubber parts, use a cleaner suitable for
vehicle interiors. Do not use any other
agent, a nd in particular do not use solvents
or petrol.
Wheels and tyres
Do not use high-pressure jet cleaners on
wheels and tyres.
