ES C N ot Ready control indicator A
The control indicator illumina tes in yellow
for approx. 4 seconds when the ignition is
switched on.
Illuminates to indicate that the system is
not ready for conditions to operate.
May illuminate in cold conditions. It should
e xting uis h wh en t h e ve hicle warms u p.
Switching off
Control indicator J illuminates in yellow for
approx. 4 seconds when the ignition is
switch e d o n .
With ESC active, if wheels are slipping on
wet, s now y or icy roa ds, e n gine sp ee d may
not increase when accelerator pedal is
depre ssed . The v ehicle may not m ove.
Turn off ESC function to allow engine rpm
to increa se, by pressing button J. C ontrol
indicator J illum inates in the instrument
cluster.
The ESC function is turned on again by
pressing button J aga in (control indicator
extinguishes) or the next time the ignition is
switched on.
