Door-to-door lighting
The dipped beam and reversing lights
illuminate for approx. 30 second s after the
drive r ex its the v ehicle a nd closes the door.
To activate function:
If the driver’s door is left open, the lights will
extinguish after two minutes.
Door-to-door lighting can be deactivated
by inserting the key in the starter switch or
by pulling the turn signal stalk towards the
steering wheel aga in while the driv er’s door
is open.

Instrument illumination,
information display illumination
Comes on when ignition is switched on.
Brightness can be adjusted when the
exterior lights are on: turn wheel to the
right or left until the desired brightness is
ob taine d.
If driver’s door is opened or q is pressed on
the remote control, instrument panel lights
will illuminate automatically and stay on
for approx. 30 seconds until starter switch
is turned to the ACC position.

Interior courtesy lights
Front read ing lights, rear interior lights and
luggage compa rtment lights function as
courtesy lighting and illuminate when the
doors or tailgate are opened.
If d oors or tailgate rema in op ened, the
lights stay illuminated for approx.
10 minutes.
Once all doors and the tailga te are closed,
the courtesy lights dim gradually after
app rox . 10 second s.
By pressing button d, both front reading
lights and the rear interior lights illuminate.
Press the button a gain to turn the lights off.
1. Switch off ignition.
2. Remove ignition key.
3. Open driver’s door.
4. Pull turn signal stalk towards
steering wheel.
