Autom atic w iping with ra in sensor 3
To activate, move stalk upwards to
automatic wiping with rain sensor
position $ .
The rain sensor detects the amount of
water on the windscreen a nd automatically
reg ulates the windscreen wiper.
The w ip er operates for one cy cle to c he ck
the system w hen the starter switch is turned
to ACC.
To turn wiper off, move stalk to position J.
Keep the rain sensor area clean by
activating the windscreen wash system.

Wind sc reen and head light wash

To activate, pull sta lk towards steering
wheel. Wash fluid is sprayed onto the
windscreen. If the stalk is held longer, the
wiper operates for two cycles after the stalk
has b een released and once more after a
3 second delay 3.
The headlight wash system 3 can only be
operated when the headlights are on.
Wash fluid is sprayed onto the headlights.
The headlight wash system can only be
operated again after a short delay. If wash
fluid level is low then this delay is increased.
On vehicles fitted with rain sensor 3, keep
the sensor area clean by activating the
windscreen wash system.

Tailgate wi per and wash syst em s
Activate wiper and wash as follows:
Wash fluid is sprayed on to tailgate
window when the button on the end of the
stalk is pressed. When the button is
released, washing will stop, but the wiper
will continue to swipe for approx. 3 c ycles.
Tailgate wiper operates automatically
when wind screen wiper is operating and
re verse gear has be en selected .
