Owner`s manual

The Activate-Page-State command (*CW,91,bzn,0,0,pst) changes the Current-State to paging state pst (1 to 7). Paging always routes
fast (no volume tapering), for immediate activation. Using the bzn parameter, you may direct the command to a switcher at a specific
Base-Zone, or to all switchers on the daisy chain. To terminate the page, you issue the Deactivate-Page-State command
(*CW,91,bzn,0,0,0).
A Page-State message (!S,91,bzn,swt,0,pst) is returned when paging, with state pst (1 to 7) indicating the current paging state. When
paging terminates, a Change-State message (!S,90,bzn,swt,0,mst) is returned, with machine state mst (0 to 7) indicating the restored
state.
A configuration command related to paging, is *PW,230,1,3,1 – this will enable the PAGE_PB_IN contact-closure input to be used to
activate (when closed) and terminate (when open) the paging function FOR STATE-1 ONLY. This is useful for telephone systems that
provide relay contact closure during paging.
This diagram shows paging from State-0, but note that if you are currently in another state (Dynamic-mode), the paging function works
the same, restoring the original state.
State-Program Mode
Any of the states 1 through 7 may be programmed for use as a preset or page (interrupt) state.
As discussed above, Dynamic-State mode allows you to change your Current-State to any of the machine states, 0 to 7. When you in
are a state other than 0, changes you make (routes, volume adjusts...) are immediately saved to non-volatile state memory.
Therefore, State-Program mode is just a special use of Dynamic-State mode: change to the desired preset or page state, program the
desired configuration of routes and volume adjustments, and then change back to state-0.
The Change-State command (*CW,90,bzn,0,0,mst,msg,tpr) changes the Current-State to mst (0 to 7). The msg parameter allows you
to enable individual zone-route messages if desired, and tpr selects either normal routing (with volume tapering), or fast routing (no
tapering). Using the bzn parameter, you may direct the command to a switcher at a specific Base-Zone, or to all switchers on the daisy
chain. A State-Change message (!S,90,bzn,swt,0,mst) is returned, and individual zone route messages (!S,1/2/3) may also be returned.
