EN Proper gear mesh is important to avoid damage to your drivetrain components. Follow these simple steps: 1 Loosen the screw holding the motor mount in place (A). 2 Place a small piece of paper (B) between the pinion and spur gears. 3 Slide the motor mount until the pinion is tight against the spur. 4 Tighten the motor mount screw. Do not over-tighten. Thread lock is recommended. 5 Remove the paper. There should be a slight bit of backlash between the pinion and spur.
