13. DISPOSAL CONSIDERATIONS
Nickel metal hydride batteries do not contain hazardous materials according to
EC directives 2006/66/EC.
In accordance with appropriate national regulations (2006/66/EC).

14. TRANSPORT INFORMATION
Nickel-Metal-Hydride batteries, which we supply to our customers are not subject to
dangerous goods transport regulations due to following regulations:
Air transport: IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations 57th Edition special provision A199
The shipping documents contain “Not restricted, as per Special Provision A199”in the air
waybill (8.2.6 IATA-DGR)
Sea transport (UN 3496): IMDG Code 37. Amendment special provision 117 / 963
Road and rail transport: ADR/RID 2015
All of these batteries are carefully packed and provide appropriate protection for prevention
of short circuits
