Beam Spreader (Wash Only)

Repair/Replacement Procedure
Step 1. Disconnect luminaire AC input cable from power source.
Step 2. Remove both top and bottom head covers by loosening four quarter-turn captive locking
screws.
Step 3. Disconnect wiring for transfer fan and color/gobo fans as well as head cable from zoom
interconnect PCB.
Step 4. Remove transfer fan (see procedure on page 51).
Step 5. At Beam Spreader, remove eight (four per side) 6-32x3/8" PPZ screws from beam spreader
covers and remove covers.
Step 6. Loosen four screws on mounting clamps and remove two clamps (screws are captive and
will not come out).
Step 7. At front noise ring of fixture, remove four 10-32x1/2" SCB Allen head screws (using 5/32"
Allen Wrench).
Step 8. Lift Beam Spreader assembly up through fixture.
Step 9. Replace by performing steps 2 through 8 in reverse order.
