Lens Barrel Assembly Replacement (continued)

Step 7. At front of optical support ring, remove three 8-32×3/8" PPZ screws. Figure

2-14.

Step 8. At each side of optical support ring, remove two 6-32×1/2" PPZ screws and

#6 flat washers. Remove optical support ring.

Step 9. Remove lens barrel assembly by pulling straight out from front assembly

along guide rods.

Step 10. Install replacement assembly by performing Steps 2 through 9 in reverse

order.
