Lens Barrel Assembly Replacement

To remove and replace lens barrel assembly:
Step 1. Disconnect luminaire AC input cable from power source.
Step 2. At top head cover, gradually loosen two 8-32 x 3/8" captive screws.
Step 3. Remove front nose cover by removing two 10-32×1/2" PPB screws (one on
each side). Figure 2-6.
Step 4. Cut cable ties which secure zoom optics motor wires to front assembly.
(Zoom optics motor is smaller of two linear actuator motors.)
CAUTION: If you use pliers instead of 1/4-inch wrench in next step, ensure you
place pliers on standoff on edge motor shaft. Do not hold edge motor shaft with pliers,
or shaft may be damaged.
Step 5. At lens barrel assembly, use 1/4-inch open-ended wrench to hold standoff on
edge motor shaft, and using another 1/4-inch open-ended wrench, remove 4-
40 SS KEPS nut from end of motor shaft. Figure 2-10.
Step 6. Disconnect zoom optics motor wire connector from junction connector.
