4343W X-ray Detector
REFERENCE MANUAL
1.0 Scope
This document describes design elements and respective interfaces for the 4343W X-ray
Detector. All applicable mechanical, electronic, and software interfaces are described.
2.0 Contraindication
There are no contraindication situations.
3.0 Intended Use
Varex Imaging Digital X-ray Detectors and their accessories are components designed to be
integrated into products by X-ray system manufacturers. Final application and intended use are
determined by the X-ray system manufacturer and is based on the completed X-ray system
design. It is the responsibility of the X-ray system manufacturer to confirm safety, efficacy and
compliance of the X-ray system intended for use, inclusive of the X-ray Detector. The Digital
Radiography Software referred to in this manual is intended to be used by system integrators to
control and operate the X-ray Detector, as well as, for development, testing, and maintenance
purposes only.
4.0 Audience
This document is for users of the X-ray Detector and for X-ray system manufacturers and X-ray
system installers who are responsible for installing the X-ray Detector into an X-ray system.
Note
The X-ray Detector is designed to be integrated into a complete X-ray system
by a qualified system integrator. The system integrator is responsible for
obtaining FDA clearance for medical use.
