BARCELONA additions STORY: Pulling cues from its namesake city, Barcelona mixes the literal textures of city (Gaudi anyone?) with modern structure and applies them to a classical crystal chandelier. Its frame mixes the great (hand-forged and hand-textured recycled steel) with the spectacular (heirloom-quality optic crystal). It’s superior crystal with a most delicious twist. MADEIRA new family STORY: Sometimes the best discoveries are those made by accident. Winemakers on Madeira, a Portuguese island, found that heat changed the flavor of their wine for the better. Our Madeira came to be in a similar way…well, let’s just say there were spirits involved, too. We apply heat to our Madeira by charring the wood and then we frame the wood with golden hand-forged recycled steel. Madeira presents a handsome blend of the coast and the (wine) country. SAWYERS BAR new family STORY: We often find ourselves on meandering trips searching for inspiration. On the road in Northern California, we happened upon Sawyers Bar, the site of an old 1800s mining camp. In search of our own discovery, we alternated panels of solid and perforated steel with a coppery metallic interior. Dark outside and fiery inside, its glow appears amplified and surreal like a gold nugget amongst the rock. FEATURES: Circle-perforated recycled steel panels.

FASCINATION additions STORY: Breathtaking… that’s what came to mind when we saw the ruins of an old Nevada mine at sunset. The walls had been constructed of wine bottles and mud. All those old bottles arranged so perfectly and capturing the sunlight...what better inspiration for a lighting family? We mimicked the bottle ends with recycled steel circles of varying sizes filled with recycled glass discs. Rarely before has a design based in “old” seemed so powerfully new.
