OPTIONAL BLOWER
OPERATION
Locate blower switch by opening lower louver
on replace insert. Blower switch is located at
lower left inside louver door.
This thermostat-controlled blower has three
settings: ON, OFF and AUTO. In the ON
position, blower will operate constantly. In
the OFF position, blower will not operate.
In the AUTO position, blower will start when
thermostat senses a sufcient increase in
rebox temperature.
Note: Your gas logs and thermostat blower
will not turn on and off at the same time. The
replace insert may run for several minutes
before blower turns on. After heater modulates
to pilot position, blower will continue to run.
Blower will shut off after rebox temperature
decreases.
Note: It is safe to operate replace insert with
blower turned off. However, blower helps dis-
tribute heated air from replace insert.
