OPTIONAL BLOWER
OPERATION
Locate blower switch by opening lower louver
on replace insert. Blower switch is located at
lower left inside louver door.
This thermostat-controlled blower has three
settings: ON, OFF and AUTO. In the ON
position, blower will operate constantly. In
the OFF position, blower will not operate.
In the AUTO position, blower will start when
thermostat senses a sufcient increase in
rebox temperature.
Note: Your gas logs and thermostat blower
will not turn on and off at the same time. The
replace insert may run for several minutes
before blower turns on. After heater modulates
to pilot position, blower will continue to run.
Blower will shut off after rebox temperature
decreases.
Note: It is safe to operate replace insert with
blower turned off. However, blower helps dis-
tribute heated air from replace insert.
