Connecting to an optional subwoofer Vanatoo Transparent One speakers are designed to provide excellent bass at louder than normal listening levels without the need for a subwoofer. However if you are playing very bass heavy music, adding a subwoofer will allow you to play even lower bass and achieve louder overall volume. When a subwoofer is connected, the active speaker automatically detects the connection and adds a digital crossover network between the Transparent One speakers and the subwoofer. 1.
