ROLINE IEEE-1284 Printer Cables for EPP Interfaces
The IEEE 1284 specification covers data
transfer for bidirectional parallel interfaces:
enhanced parallel ports (EPP). EPP specifies the
1.5MB bidirectional data transfer via parallel
port and is up to 5 times faster than a current
parallel port. EPP allows the user to connect
fast peripheral devices such as disk drives,
LAN interfaces, CD-ROM players and backup
systems.
