Mini POS Troubleshoong Guide
9.1) Basic Troubleshoong Guide
Should the unit stop operang, check the power cord to make sure it is plugged into the UPS
or power strip and securely plugged into the back of the POS MINI. If the oponal UPS is
used with your system, be sure that the UPS is turned on. Then proceed by conrming that
all of the cables are plugged in to the correct places as illustrated in the POS MINI Cable &
Lights Locaon Diagram in Appendix B.
Aer checking all cables and your power source, aempt to restart the unit via the reset
switch.
If aer doing the above, the unit is sll working improperly, please proceed to the advanced
troubleshoong guide.
9.2) Advanced Troubleshoong Guide
9.2.1) The Mini POS will not turn on. “No LED lights are illuminated on the unit.
1. Is the Mini POS’s power cord plugged into the available power source
and securely plugged into the back of the Mini POS?
YES – Proceed to the next step.
NO – Plug in and wait approximately 45 seconds for the Programmer to turn on.
2. Is the On/O switch in the On posion indicated by an illuminated Red LED light?
YES – Reset the Mini POS via the reset switch. (See Appendix B)
NO – Call ValidFill Support.
9.2.2) The monitor is black but the Mini POS is running.
1. Is the Green LED on the top right of the monitor illuminated?
YES – Reset the Mini POS via the reset switch. (See Appendix B)
NO – Call ValidFill Support.
