Null Modem
Null modem is not a physical communication device, but a commonly
used name for a cross-connected RS-232 cable for interconnecting two
computers.
To include this component to setup, add the device NullModem-IP or
WinNullModem-IP as shown in Figure 89 on page 208. Note that for
a direct cable connection to a Windows PC, the device to use is
WinNullModem-IP.

NOTE
There are no station-specific parameters associated with the null
modems. A power control component is included, but usually there is
no real need for it.
