Troubleshooting GOES
Transmission
If a transmission fails, a Transmission failed warning will be
generated. An error code showing the reason for the failure can be read
by giving the following command:
LASTVAL <name> service
Example:
LASTVAL GOES_1 service
Below is a list of the possible error codes:
- 0x04: Invalid transmission start time
- 0x05: Transmission overlaps another transmission
- 0x06: Invalid transmission channel
- 0x0A: Transmitter clock not set
If any of required static parameters (parameters set with the spset
command) are invalid or missing, no transmission will be made. A
warning will be generated indicating which parameter is missing or
invalid.
