6 Flat-roof mounting
6 Flat-roof mounting
With flat roof installation, the tube collectors are fas-
tened to frames.
The flat roof frames allow for a flexible installation with
an angle of 30 °, 45 ° or 60 °.
Also note that the height of the mounting rails is varia-
ble, in order to compensate for small floor irregularities.
6.2 Weighting and arrangement of the frames
First of all, define the necessary load of the frames
based on Tab. 6.1.
Load [kg/collector]
Height above ground
Angle of attack 0-10 m 10-18 m 18-25 m
30° 159 178 197
45° 225 252 279
60° 276 309 342

a
Caution!
The roof may collapse!
Before installation, check the maximum roof
load!
If necessary, contact a specialist roofing de-
signer/contractor before proceeding.
Consider if the frame can be bolted to the
structure as opposed to weighting.
a
Caution!
For determining the installation location, keep
a distance of 1 m from the roof edge! A differ-
ent distance causes high wind loads.
