QuickSpecs

The memory subsystem in this server is divided into channels. Each processor supports eight channels, and each channel supports
three DIMM slots, as shown in the table below. White DIMM slots denote the first slot of a channel (Ch 4A, Ch 9B, Ch 1C, Ch 12D...).

The server can operate in independent channel mode (performance) or combined channel mode (lockstep). Lockstep mode improves
the system reliability and availability. If running with RDIMM (built with x4 DRAM devices), the system can survive the complete failure
of two DRAM devices (DDDC). Running in independent mode, the server can only survive the complete failure of a single DRAM device
(SDDC).

The server supports the following DIMM speeds as shown below in the table.

NOTE:
Depending on the number of DIMMs installed, whether LRDIMMs or RDIMMs are installed, and whether the DIMM is operating and
standard or low voltage, the memory clock speed can be reduced to 1333 or 1066 MT/s.
When 3 DIMMS per channel are installed with the LV DIMMS the system will default to standard voltage.

The server supports the following DIMM speeds as shown below in the table.
