AutoTrak 2.0 is an IR lanyard-based camera tracking
system designed to provide a smooth and accurate panning
motion that follows the instructor as they walk around the
presentation area of a classroom. AutoTrak 2.0 is Vaddio’s
revolutionary automated camera tracking system designed
for educational and corporate training facilities.
The instructor wears a lanyard belt pack that emits infrared
light received by an IR PTZ camera. Video is then sent from
the IR PTZ camera to the Tracking Camera. The result is a
smooth, accurate panning motion that follows the instructor
as they walk around the presentation area of the classroom.
AutoTrak 2.0 eliminates the need for a staff person to operate
a camera in a classroom to follow the instructor as they
conduct class.
Both the IR camera and the tracking camera are based on
Vaddio’s single-chip CCD ClearVIEW HD-18 high definition
PTZ camera. The system can deliver both standard definition
and high definition video from the tracking camera. The
video output can then be fed into a variety of products,
including streaming devices, lecture capture systems or
videoconferencing codecs.
Simply slip the lanyard around your neck and the system
begins to track, freeing teachers to do what they do best:
teach.
** All Vaddio tracking camera systems must be programmed by either a Vaddio
Certified Installing Technician, or Vaddio Factory Technician. (See 999-PROG-
