4.2 Cleaning the grease filter
The grease filter should be cleaned at least once a month with normal use. If
properly cared for, the grease filter should provide unlimited years ofservice.
➤ The grease filter can be cleaned in a dishwasher.
➤ Select an «intensive» – or «heavy soil» – wash programme with a warm
pre-wash.
If you do not have a dishwasher:
➤ Clean the grease filter in the sink with hot water and detergent.
➤ Then soak the filter in hot water in the sink for about 2hours and finally
clean with a washing-up brush.
Cleaning may cause the grease filters to become discoloured.
However, this will not affect the functioning of the filters in any way.
