13 Trouble-shooting
... no visible steam is produced when steaming
Possible cause Solution
• The temperature of the
cooking space is over
100°C.
No solution required:
Steam is invisible above 100°C.
...the food probe temperature is not displayed
Possible cause Solution
• The food probe is not
plugged in correctly.
► Check whether the food probe is correctly
plugged into the socket.
► Check whether the food probe is correctly in-
serted in the food: The tip must be in the
centre of the thickest part.
• In the selected automatic
programme, the food
probe cannot be used; the
symbol is illuminated
in grey.
► If you wish to use the food probe in spite of
this, change to the operating mode
menu and set a suitable operating mode.
• The food probe or the
socket is defective.
► Call Customer Services.
...the control panel has steamed up
Possible cause Solution
• Steam escaping when us-
ing operating modes with
steam.
It is normal for the control panel to steam up
temporarily.
► When closing the appliance door, make sure
that it forms a seal all the way round.
► If it keeps steaming up, call Customer Ser-
vices.
