10.2 General tips
Several foods can be cooked simultaneously to save energy, e.g. rice or
pulses together with vegetables with similar cooking times.
With the appropriate amount of liquid, grains, e.g. rice or millet, and pulses,
e.g. lentils, cook directly in suitable tableware.
Put the tableware directly on the perforated cooking tray or wire shelf.
10.3 Saving energy
The operating mode consumes less energy than the operating mode.
Avoid opening the appliance door frequently.
Only switch the illumination on when needed.
For gratins, use the residual heat: after a duration of 30minutes, turn the
appliance off 5–10minutes before end of cooking or baking.
Minimise preheating.
Only preheat the cooking space if the cooking or baking results depend on
it.
To reduce power consumption to a minimum, select «Hide time» in
the user settings. Despite automatic energy-saving stand-by, all safety
features are active.
