Net curtains
If washing curtains made from mixed or man-made fibres:
䡲 Ask the retailer whether the curtains are machine washable and, if so, at
what water temperature.
䡲 Fill the washing drum only a quarter full.
䡲 Tie up metal rollers and plastic sliders using an open weave fabric.
䡲 Use a mild detergent (use sparingly due to foaming).
䡲 With older, faded curtains, the material is weaker and may be easily dam-
aged if machine washed.
䡲 A special programme is available for gently washing net curtains.

A Press the button repeatedly until «Net curtains» appears in the
graphic display.
Energy and water economy
䡲 Use the maximum wash load capacity of the particular programme.
䡲 For greater washing economy, select the «Night economy programme».
䡲 Select «Pre-wash» or «Soak» only for washing that is heavily soiled or
stained».
䡲 For lightly soiled washing without staining select the main programme
or the «Sport» function.
䡲 Follow the instructions on the packaging of the washing detergent for how
much washing detergent to add.
