Opening the appliance door in the event of a power failure
A Turn off the water tap.
A Disconnect the appliance from the electricity supply.
A Open drain tray 2 by pressing in the bottom area.
Or
A Remove quick operating instructions 1 from the
wash detergent drawer and open drain tray 2.
A Fold drain tray 2 fully down.
A If necessary, carry out emergency draining.
A Remove the drain tray 2.
A Remove the emergency door release tool 3 from its
fastening.
A Insert the emergency door release tool into opening
4 and turn in the direction of the arrow.
– The appliance door springs open.
Ensure that the washing drum is stationary. Do not touch the drum
while it is still in motion – risk of serious injury.
If the emergency door release tool 2 is missing, a screw driver can be
used instead.
