Using for the first time

Before using the newly installed appliance for the first time, the following work

should be carried out.

Transport lock

Setting the language, time and date

A Set the language, time and date in the user settings.

A Hold the button depressed until the

following appears in the graphic display:

A Press the button repeatedly until «Language» or «Time and date»

«set?» appear in the graphic display.

A Use the button to make the desired settings.

Running the first wash cycle without any washing

A Run an empty wash cycle to remove any residues from the manufacturing

process.

A Add a little washing detergent to compartment II.

A Select the main programme .

The appliance was tested with water before being shipped. There may

therefore still be traces of water left in the appliance.

Before using the appliance for the first time, the transport lock

must be removed (3 screws with washers at the back of the appli-

ance), in order to avoid damage to the appliance.

To ensure the user settings are saved, the power supply to the appli-

ance should not be switched off for at least 30 minutes.
