ASSEMBLY AND INSTALLATION

1. Take the parts out of the mounting package and the fixture components then lay them on a clean,

smooth and flat surface.

2. Insert the FULL THREADED NIPPLE (4) into the center hole of the MOUNTING BRACKET (2)

and lightly tighten using HEX NUTS (5). Note: Do not fully tighten yet. Pull out the SUPPLY

WIRES (9 & 11) including the SUPPLY GROUND WIRE (8) from the OUTLET BOX (1). Attach

MOUNTING BRACKET (2) using MOUNTING BRACKET SCREWS (3) to each side of the OUTLET

BOX (1). (See Fig.1).

Unravel the FIXTURE GROUND WIRE (7) and duplex fixture lead wires and thread them through

every link of the CHAIN (17) starting with the chain link attached to the FIXTURE LOOP (18).

Insert the fixture duplex lead wires and GROUND WIRE (7) through the SCREW COLLAR LOOP

(6) and FULL THREADED NIPPLE (4) assembly. Pull and straighten the fixture duplex lead wire

and GROUND WIRE (7) upward to remove excess slack. (See Fig.1).

5. Open QUICK LINK (19) and attach one end of the chain. Adjust the length of wire needed based on

your installation height. Remove excess wire. Determine chain length to be assembled with the fixture

body in relation to the hanging height of the SCREW COLLAR LOOP (6). Slide the THREADED

RING (16) and CANOPY (15) onto the CHAIN (17)--in this order and attach the other end to the

QUICK LINK (19) and to the CHAIN (17). Then attach one end to the FIXTURE LOOP (18) and

to the QUICK LINK (19). (See Fig.1 & 2).

GENERAL

All electrical connections must be in accordance with local and National Electrical Code (N.E.C.) standards. If

you are unfamiliar with proper electrical wiring connections obtain the services of a qualified electrician.

Remove the fixture

and the mounting package from the box and make sure that no parts are missing by

referencing the illustrations on the installation instructions.

CAUTION

Turn off the main power at the circuit breaker before installing the fixture, in order to prevent possible shock.

6. Split the duplex wire: one shows the MARKED (10) and UNMARKED (12) lead wires and

connect with the power SUPPLY WIRES (9 & 11). SUPPLY GROUND WIRE (8) to connect

with FIXTURE GROUND WIRE (7) and loop around GROUND SCREW (14) of the MOUNTING

BRACKET (2). Note: Be sure to provide an extra 3” inches length of GROUND WIRE (7).

Connect the remaining FIXTURE GROUND WIRE (7) to the supply ground wire using WIRE

CONNECTOR (13). Place wiring and connections in the OUTLET BOX (1). (See Fig.1).

Screw the light bulbs into the lamp sockets (21) and make sure they do not exceed the maximum

attage specified on the fixture’s rating capacity. MAXIMUM 60W.

7. Slide the CANOPY (15) and the THREADED RING (16) up to the CHAIN (17). Place the

CANOPY (15) over the OUTLET BOX (1) and secure it in place by screwing the THREADED

RING (16) onto the SCREW COLLAR LOOP (6). (See Fig.1).

INSTALLATION IS NOW COMPLETED.

Thread the SCREW COLLAR LOOP (6) onto the bottom end of the FULL THREADED NIPPLE

(4). Place the CANOPY (15) over the OUTLET BOX (1) and adjust the SCREW COLLAR LOOP

(6) and NIPPLE (4) until the mid point of outside threads of the SCREW COLLAR LOOP (6) is

centered (aligned) with the surface of the CANOPY(15). Remove the CANOPY (15) and tighten

both HEX NUTS (5) down on the MOUNTING BRACKET (2) and SCREW COLLAR LOOP (6).
