Port Forwarding A NAPT application creates a firewall between LAN and WAN. A firewall keeps
unwanted traffic away from user computers in the LAN. A tunnel can be created
through user firewall so that a distant server on the Internet can communicate
with one of the user computers in the LAN via a single port.
