2. BASIC OPERATIONS

2.1 Switch the Phone On/Off

Press and hold the power key . The phone will display the power-

on/off animation.

If the PowerOn Code function is active, after switching on the phone,

enter the security code (with each input displayed as *) and press the left

soft key (Ok). If correct, the power-on animation will be displayed;

otherwise Code Error will be displayed.

2.2 Make a Call

 Note: Prior to making or receiving calls, the phone must be

connected to a wireless Access Point (AP) and registered with the

Vonage network. See “WiFi-Settings” on page 56 for

detailed instructions.

1. Key in the phone number.

To delete the character or digit to the left of the cursor, press the right

soft key (Clear). To move the cursor, press . To delete all

the numbers or characters, press and hold the right soft

key (Clear).

2. Press to call the number. “Connecting…” will be displayed.

To cancel the call attempt, press the right soft key (Cancel); a

time display of 00:00:00 will appear. You can also press the

key to cancel the call; the phone will return to standby mode.

3. When the call is connected, the call timer is displayed.

4. To end the call, press the right soft key (Hang up) or the key.
