TAKING A PICTURE IN IDLE MODE

To active Camera Mode, press and hold the Left Side
Camera Key
when the folder is closed or the Camera
Key when the folder is open.

To take a picture, when the folder is open press
OK
[OK] or the Camera Key . Or when the folder is
closed, press the Left Side Camera Key
.

After taking the picture it will be displayed.
To save the picture, press Left Soft Key
[SAVE].
To go back to idle mode without saving the
picture, press the End Key
END
.
To take another picture without saving the picture
you just took, press Right Soft Key
[ERASE].
To send the picture to someone, press
OK
[SEND].
Please refer to page 132 for more details on
“Send New Picture Message”.
• If you receive an incoming call while taking a picture,
the camera will turn off. You may not receive a warning
before the incoming call.
• You cannot change the image size (Settings-Resolution)
once a Fun Frame has been set.
• By pressing Left Soft Key [MENU], you can
choose from the following:
1. Self Portrait:
Switch the viewfinder to the Sub LCD.
To take a picture of yourself by checking the view on
the Sub LCD.
By pressing Left Soft Key
[MENU], you can choose
Sub LCD options: 1. Main LCD/2. Self Timer/
3. Fun Tools.../4. Image Controls.../5. Settings.../
6. Camcorder Mode.
2. Self Timer:
To activate the camera’s timer function.
(Off/5 Seconds/10 Seconds)
3. Fun Tools...:
Color Effects:
To select picture effects.
(Normal/Gray/Sepia/Negative)
Fun Frame:
To select Fun Frame.
(Off/Flower/Mask/Sweet Heart/Fist Punch/Sports/Stars/
Candle/Lips/Sea/Sky.)
4. Image Controls...:
Brightness: Press Navigation Key right (0~+2)
or press Navigation Key
left (0~-2) to select
brightness control.
White Balance:
To select a white tone balance.
(Auto/Sunny/Cloudy/Tungsten/Fluorescent)
5. Settings...:
Resolution: To select a resolution for a picture.
(1280x960/1024x768/640x480/320x240/176x144/
160x120)
Quality: To select a picture quality.
(High/Medium/Low)
Shutter Sound:
To select a shutter sound.
(Off/Default/Say “Cheese”/Ready! 123)
6. Camcorder Mode: To switch from camera mode to
video mode.
• User can control zoom directly by pressing the Navigation
Key . Press the Navigation Key left/right: Zoom
Down/Up. (Except 1280X960, 1024X768 mode).
