7.1 Phone Maintenance
z Daily cleaning
Dust and dirt on the phone’s exterior can be removed with a soft cloth.
z Cleaning of obstinate dirt
For difficult to clean areas, please use a soft wet towel with diluted cleaning agent,
then wipe with a dry cloth.
z Do not use solvents like benzene, thinner or gas. These solvents may damage
or fade the phone’s exterior
7.2 Troubleshooting
When encountering difficulty during phone use, please consult the following
troubleshooting table:

Is the power adaptor connector properly
inserted into the phone adaptor jack?
Properly connect the power
adaptor to the phone again.
Is the power adaptor inserted into the
AC outlet?
Insert the power adaptor again to
verify proper connection.
Is the battery polarity reversed? Switch the battery’s connection
direction.
Phone will not operate
(turn on).
Does the battery run out of energy
without connecting the power adaptor?
Connect the power adaptor.
The phone cannot dial
numbers properly.
Is the phone outside the service area? Move the phone to a location
with sufficient signal strength.
During a call, the
interference is so strong
that the call could be
interrupted.
Is there any object around that blocks or
absorbs the signal?
Call from another location.
