( Note: The length of standby time the battery can supply power is determined by the
telephone usage. The following actions or situations can consume more power
and reduce the standby time.
 Migration to areas where signal strength is weak.
 Moving through the service area.
 Talking on the phone for long periods of time.
 Ringing volume is set to the maximum.
 Earpiece volume is set to the maximum.
 Leaving the phone in hot or cold places such as a car will reduce the
capacity and life of the battery. A phone with a hot or cold battery may
temporarily not work even when the battery is fully charged.
 Repeated changing of phone parameters. (i.e. Adding or deleting entries
to/from the phonebook feature)
 Repeated use of phone features. (i.e. Short Message Service, E-mail,
hands free calling, alarms and games)
