TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem
Power won’t turned on
Cannot call
Call cuts off suddenly
Ringer does not
sound
No response to key
input
No response when the
cursor key is pressed
The display is corrupt-
ed or blank
What to check
• Is the battery inserted?
• Is the battery charged?
• Is the connector plug inserted correctly?
• Did you press and hold down the
POWER button for long enough?
• Are you inside the service area?
• Did you input the phone number correct-
ly?
• Is there a line available? If not, wait a
while then call again.
• Is the line being used by another exten-
sion?
• Did you go outside the service area, or
enter a place that the signal cannot reach
(a warning will sound)?
• Is the battery out of charge?
• Is the ringer volume set to off?
• Is lock phone set to on?
• Is key guard set to on?
• Is the battery out of charge?
(“Charge” will flash on the screen)?
• Are you pressing the cursor too strongly?
Press it lightly.
• Turn the power off then on again.
• Remove the battery, and then reconnect it
after waiting for one minute. Read the
warning message on P24 before doing
this.
