Placing/ending a call

Pull out the antenna.

Dial the phone number of the party you wish to call.
Always include the local area code when dialing.
You can enter up to 32 digits but in double-size
digit display, you can only display 12 digits at any
one time. When 13 or more digits are entered,
you can press and hold
to display all digits.
Fixing mistakes
Clear the last digit : Press .
Clear all : Press and hold down
for more than a second, or press .

lights up and when the recipient answers, you
can communicate. The calling time is displayed.

Press to terminate your call.
disappears and the call duration is displayed for 3
seconds. Then the phone returns to standby screen.

When line is busy and you cannot get through.
You will hear the busy tone. (Sometimes a display saying the line is busy or an announce
saying something like the phone is either switched off or out of the service area.)

You can dial after pressing . If you do this, there will be a 5 second delay after dialing before the call
is placed.

To check a number of 13 or more digits, press and hold down . When you
release
, it will go back to displaying the last 12 digits.

The calling time that is displayed is a guide. It may not match your phone bill.
•
The dialed phone number is kept in the redial (page 30).

By pressing , you can enter "

" to split up the phone number so that it is
easier to see.
