2. Basic Operations
2.1 Turning the Phone On and Off
2.1.1 Turning the Phone ON
Press and hold (minimum of two seconds) until the LCD
backlight turns on.
When the battery power is too low, a warning tone (“bi-bi-bi”) is
heard and the phone switches itself off.
2.1.2 Turning the Phone Off
Press and hold until the LCD is cleared of all texts and icons.
The phone keypad is locked if icon is displayed on the screen.
When the icon is displayed, press to unlock the phone
keypad.
2.2 Selecting a Language
This function allows you to select which language the phone will use to
display all its texts. The default language is Chinese.
1. Press
and then to display the current language on
the LCD of the phone.
2. Press to enter the edit mode. The current language will
flash on the LCD of the phone.
3. To select English or Chinese, press the search or key.
4. To save the language setting, press the key. The phone
sounds a beep and the new setting is displayed.
