3.8 Setting the Time
• When the time is set, the items such as alarm in “ Time Manager” can be
used. Incoming/Dialed Record will have the corresponding time and date
stamp.
• The time can be set from January 1 2000 to December 31 2099.
• Its default setting is 00:00 01/01/2002 (January 1, 2002).
1. Press , to display “Time/Date” screen.
2. Press
to select “Main Display” ON/OFF.
• Select “ON” to show the time and date on the main display; select
“OFF” to hide the time and date.
• The selected text will flash.
• When selected, the cursor will automatically move to the next item
“Date”.
3. Use numeric keys to enter month, day and year.
• Please enter date as “month/day/year”.
• When completed, the cursor will automatically move to the next
item “Time”.
• If there is an error in the time and date you entered, please re-enter it
on hearing the warning beep.
4. Use numeric keys to enter the time.
• Please enter the time as “hour: minute” in 24-hour mode.
5. Press
, to display “Set” which means the time is set.
3.9 Setting an Alarm
• When the alarm is set, the phone will ring the alarm at the set time of the
day or the date.
• To use alarm function, you must set date and time first. Please refer to
section “Setting the Time”.
• Please refer to “Melody Select” on how to select an alarm ring tone.
• Its default settings are as follows:
Setting: “OFF”
Day: Appointed Day
Once: “01/01”
Appointed day: “Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, the, Fri, Sat” are all “ON”.
