10. Group
10.1 Setting a Group
To setup and establish a group at least 2 phones are required. In a group there
can be only one master phone. The transceiver number of the master phone is
fixed and is 0000 (you do not need to enter it). The slave phone numbers can be
selected from 1-8000 according to your requirements.
When the group is setup, the master and the slave phone need to enter the same
password. The password is however decided by the users.
A phone can support a maximum of 3 groups at the same time (The group
numbers are 1, 2 and 3). When the phone is switched to the corresponding
standby mode, the users can still dial the group number (“Group/Public”/
“Group” mode) and transfer phonebook (“Transfer” mode) to or communicate
with other phones that are in the same group.
10.1.1 Setting the Master Phone
1. Press , to display the “Group Setting” screen.
2. Press
to display the master setting screen, “Enter Group No.”.
3. Using numeric keys enter group number (the number can be 1, 2 or 3).
• After entering the number, “Password” screen is displayed.
4. Enter group password.
• The master phone and the slave phone are required to set the same password.
• To change the password, please press to delete the number you entered.
5. Press
, to display “Setting”.
• When completed, “End Setting” is displayed.
