CUSTOMIZING YOUR PHONE
SECURITY
The security settings allow you to prevent unauthorized use of your phone. The following settings
can be restricted.
LOCK PHONE
Turn on the lock to prevent the phone from being used without entering the password first.
1. Press [Menu], then press "Settings".
Press "Security". Enter your password.
2. Press "Lock Phone".
3. Highlight “Lock now”, “Power up” or “Unlock” then press to select it.
4. Press [Done] to save the setting.
CHANGE LOCK CODE
You can change the 4-digit password to lock and unlock your phone.
1. Press [Menu], then press "Settings".
Press "Security". Enter your password.
2. Press "Change lock code".
3. Enter your lock code then enter your new lock code. Enter your new lock code again.
• The default password is the last 4 digits of your phone number.
• The default password is the last 4 digits of your phone number.
• IMPORTANT: Be sure to write down your lock code if you change it. Virgin Mobile cannot unlock
your phone for you if you forget your password.
