- The Basics

Call: To dial the phone number.

Call Speaker On: To dial the phone number in
speakerphone mode.
v
Save Msg: To send a text message.
v
Save: Enter a seven or ten digit number (phone number
and area code) and press Options( ). Select Save
( ) to save the phone number in your Contacts.

Hard Pause: To insert a hard pause.
v
2-Sec. Pause: To insert a 2-second pause.
v
Find:Enter a digit or string of digits and press Find()
to display Contacts entries that contain the entered
numbers. (See "Finding a Phone Number" on page 30.)

4-DigitDial:Enter four digits and press to dial the
phone number in your Contacts that ends with the four
digits you enter. (See "4-Digit Calling" on page 31.)
Answering Calls
To answer an incoming call:
1. Make sure your phone is on. (If your phone is off,
incoming calls go to voicemail.)
2. Press to answer an incoming call.(Depending on
your phone’s settings, you may also answer incoming
calls by opening the phone or by pressing any number
key. See "Call Answer Mode" on page 56 for more
information.)
Your Sprint PCS Phone notifies you of incoming calls in the
following ways:
v The phone rings or vibrates.
v The indicator light flashes.
