7. Top view: For optimal performance, the arrow on the
photocontrol (B) should be facing north after the fixture
housing assembly (A) is installed. If adjustment is needed,
loosen the screw in the center of the white photocontrol socket
(E) two turns. Rotate the photocontrol socket (E) so that the
arrow will point north when installed and retighten screw.
Note: There is a stop to prevent the photocontrol socket (E)
from turning all the way around. If you have trouble turning the
photocontrol socket (E), try turning it in the other direction.
Install photocontrol (B) by aligning the arrow on top of the
photocontrol (B) with arrow on the photocontrol socket (E).
Push down and twist clockwise.
CAUTION: Photocontrol (B) will only plug in one way. Align the
large prong on the photocontrol (B) with the large opening in
the photocontrol socket (E).
To test operation during the daytime, cover the photocontrol
(B). Turn the power on. Light should turn on and reach full
brightness within ten minutes. Expose the photocontrol (B) to daylight. Light should turn off
within two minutes. With the photocontrol (B) exposed, the light will operate automatically:
ON at dusk and OFF at dawn.
TROUBLESHOOTING
