4. Make sure the power is turned off at the source to the
recessed housing(s) where the fixture(s) will be
installed. Place the lamp replacement instructions (C)
inside the housing. NOTE: This label provides
information about replacing lamps. Screw adaptor (A)
into socket in recessed housing.

5. Plug base cable connector on adaptor (A) into lamp
(B).

6. Carefully route wires into fixture and push recessed kit
up flush to ceiling surface.

2. Remove both torsion springs by removing the screw
from each torsion spring. Set screws aside for use in
next step.
1. The mounting clip jaws (AA) can be adjusted to fit in
either 5-in or 6-in housings by repositioning the short
screw (CC) when secured to mounting clip stand (BB)
as shown in the diagram for each clip.
Option #2: Installing into recessed housing without
using torsion spring brackets.

3. Attach mounting clip jaws (AA) and mounting clip stand
(BB) to lamp (B) using screws set aside from the torsion
spring removal in the step above.
