6. The next step depends on the machine configuration:
• If you have a scale, place the parcel on the scale.

NOTE: If the parcel is too heavy for the scale (greater than
1000 grams), a "Weight Over Capacity" message displays.
Remove the parcel and obtain the correct weight for this par-
cel from another source. Then follow steps A-B below.
• If you do not have a scale, do the following:
A. Press Weigh/Rate. If prompted, select Enter manual
weight.
B. Key in the correct weight (you may change how you enter
the weight between kg or g) and select Continue.

NOTE: You cannot enter a value higher than 30,000 grams
(30 kg).
