Checklist Before Running Mail
Before you run mail on your system, review these items:
• Make sure your mailing system is plugged into a prop er ly
ground ed, 110 VAC receptacle. Always follow the safe ty pre cau-
tions in Chapter 1, Introduction.
• Check that you have enough postage for your mail run (see next
page).
• Check that you have a spare ink cartridge if you are low on ink
and need to run a large number of mail pieces. See Chapter 12,
Supplies and Options for ordering additional ink cartridges.
• Check the level of sealing solution in the optional moistener. If you
need to add sealing solution, refer to Chapter 10, Maintenance.
• If you plan on printing tape sheets, make sure you've have an
adequate supply. See Chapter 12, Supplies and Options for or-
dering tape sheets.
